Emeraude here today, back with another edition to our fall post series. It has been getting SO COLD here the past month, and I'm looking back at the warm September weather we were experiencing a while ago. Here's how I spent those almost fall days.  Angel and I were seizing the moment to go out and enjoy the few days of chilly yet warm fall. Usually, around here during September it's still warm enough, but the wind starts to become very cold, then October becomes mitten weather and the first few snow flakes. This year was no different.  A small shop downtown was ending their ice cream season with yummy fall themed flavours, so after school one day we went out for a nature walk, fall photos, and a yummy treat. We walked to the store and picked up our fall ice cream then went down to the water front to enjoy them. The photos don't really do justice to how vivid the fall colours were this year.  Hello again everybody! It's Emeraude, I'm back from my writing break and ready to catch you all up on school, friends, family and everything in between.       First I'd like to wish everyone happy fall! 🍂 Here in Northern Ontario all the leaves are starting to change, the air is starting to chill and the wind is starting to bite. I absolutely love fall and everything that comes along with it.      I can't wait to write all about the beginning of high school as well. Things are very different in pandemic school, and there are all sorts of things to talk about.     Stay tuned for some fall recipes I love as well! Oh, speaking of recipes a cute little indie shop just opened in my town, it's the coolest little place with essential oils and sustainable no-plastic skincare and they make herbal remedies... it's really cool!     Okay, well I will see you all next week!
